Guitar Song

For this song, I was messing around with my guitar and played a Fmaj7 barre chord and then a Cmaj7 barre chord. I thought that they sounded very nice together I then recorded the chords into Ableton and added some reverb, delay, channel EQ, and amp effects to it. After this, I took some drums from my sample packs and made a drum rack that I felt matched the guitar and recorded a drum beat. Next, I added some simple bass to give the song a little more feeling to it. Finally, I added two riffs that really add the touches and emotions to the song that I wanted.

Sampling Beat

For this beat, I found another sample that I really liked in a sample pack and decided to pitch it up a little and chop it to my liking. After this, I made a drum rack out of drum samples from one of my sample packs and came up with a drum pattern that fit the song nicely. Next, I went through multiple bass sounds but finally found the one that I thought fit the best.

Song Remix

In this project, I took Kanye West’s song “I Love Kanye”, which is an acapella song, and added some of my own touches to it. I found a sample that I had been recently working with and decided that it would fit perfectly here in this remix. So I chopped it a bit and changed its BPM. After this I did the same as I did with the song prior, I made a drum rack out of drums sounds I had from different sample packs. Finally, I added simple bass that added the final touch.
